A Soul Glo Reflection: When You Don’t Have the Words (The Healing Collection)

The Healing Collection

I had originally planned to release new candles earlier in the month, but this collection took more time. I found myself sitting with the question of whether I should release it at all, because it came from something deeply personal.

I created the Healing Collection for a loved one who is experiencing a challenging time right now. I didn’t have the words to express how I felt, so I leaned into what I believe I’ve been guided to do, which is create tools that bring comfort and support to others during difficult moments. A way to let someone know they are not alone and to stand in solidarity with their journey.

Each candle in this collection was created with my relative in mind, reflecting what they were experiencing during this time. There were moments of physical weakness, which inspired the Healing Light and Solar Strength candles. Healing Light represents what the body may be going through, offering a sense of restoration, love, and support, while Solar Strength was created for the days when energy feels low, providing a gentle reminder of strength and support even in stillness.

The Healing Light candle is especially meaningful to me. The colors flow into one another, light green at the bottom, blending into white in the middle, and blue at the top. They are not stacked or separated, but move together in a soft, continuous flow. That was intentional. To me, that flow represents how healing energy moves. It is not rigid or forced. It flows freely, gently, and in its own time, just like the body and spirit do when they are supported.

Love and Support is the candle I created to represent our bond. Because they are far away, this candle became my way of sending presence, care, and support from a distance. Ancestor’s Light was created to call on the support of those who walk with us, both seen and unseen, representing guidance, love, and protection during times when it’s needed most.

What began as something deeply personal, I felt called to extend to others. There are so many people moving through challenging moments right now, and I wanted to create something that could offer support, even in a quiet and simple way. There are moments in life when we or someone we love is going through something, and we simply don’t have the words. These candles were created for those moments. Crafted with care, guided by intention, and made with love, they serve as a quiet way to offer support when words fall short.

While each candle is created with intention, there is always space for the person receiving it to create their own meaning and intention as well.

The colors used in this collection reflect how I was feeling at the time of creation, each one carrying its own energy and meaning. Some of my personal favorites are the Healing Light and Ancestor’s Light candles, both of which hold a calm, grounding presence.

You may notice this collection does not include charms or ribbons, and that was intentional. To me, healing is a process where we are stripped down to our bare selves. When we are facing difficult moments, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, we are not focused on material things. We are simply trying to move through what we are experiencing. This collection reflects that. It is pure, without distraction, allowing space for presence, reflection, and healing.

Reiki, for me, is a supportive tool during those moments when I need grounding, clarity, or a sense of calm. Through my candle making, I incorporate that energy into each piece, and it is one of the parts of my process that I value most.

Whether these candles are used during a Reiki session, alone or with a client, in quiet moments of meditation, within a sacred space, or simply placed in someone’s home, my intention is that they bring comfort, support, love, and positive energy into the space and into the heart of whoever receives them.

Being able to create something that may bring even a moment of peace to someone else is not something I take lightly. If these candles can do that, even in the smallest way, then that means everything.
